The head of state traveled to meet with national troops in the Donetsk region on the start of the week. He stated that he consulted soldiers at the operational headquarters of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya sector, a town approximately 20km from Pokrovsk.

Volatile Situation in Pokrovsk

Updated analysis from a national effort indicated that opposition armies had made gains into Pokrovsk and its environs, though much of it remained beyond firm control by either side.
