Loyal fans of Ariana Grande are urging that a man who leaped a fence and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared clip depicts the Australian man shoving aside photographers and rushing toward Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade accompanied by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was scheduled to appear on the next day. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram account features videos of him interrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last year.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Fans Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Many fans blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed experiencing PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the end of her 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote one more response on Instagram.

A number of supporters also faulted guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals called for digital services to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In clips shared widely, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Many of attendees had gathered in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the second of a dual interpretation of the acclaimed stage production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely bond between two very different sorceresses.

The show itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of the previous year in the UK, and received ten Academy Award nods, winning several for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
